Pilgor and Stella

1 Pilgor and 1 Stella png

I’m going to be honest when we decided we were going to get Pygmy goats, we had no clue what we were in for, now our life as farmers is a little easier than it was when we first got them.

Pilgor the one in front was a little more “outgoing” than Stella, they would not come to you they ran when they saw you they would not get out of there dog crate, they were not really use to people.

Within a week they had us trained pretty good, we give them water we give them their food, which they were not getting before they lived here, they would jump into our lap they would let us pet them they were starting to come around.

Now almost a year later we have learned you never, ever, ever let goats in the house, they do there business when ever and where ever they want! They like to come in the front yard to hangout with us, and eat the Japanese maple, which kills me, they go into heat…a lot. No I’m not going to have babies!!! But I would like to someday have a goat sanctuary when we are living on our property in Spokane.

Lifes pretty good right now on the farm…

About Me!

Hey Gallardasgirl here,

A lil about me…

I am mom to 2 boys and a girl, a wife to a pretty great husband, he is my assistant on here he set this whole thing up for me, thanks babe. I am his assistant in everyhthing else! I am a stay at home mom who has a whole lot going on.
We have 3 dogs Gracie our 10 year old Shih tzu, Bella is 6 she is our (mine) 3.6 pound chihuahua, Maci our 4 year old German Shepard. Who is truly the annoying little BIG sister. We have a big ole Tom cat named Kona who hates us we feed him but he has not come in our house for the last 2 1/2 years. We have tried to get him to come to us no go!!! Last year we decided we were going to adopt 2 Pygmy goats, Pilgor and Stella. They are sisters they are about a year old now. If you have never ever been around a Pygmy goat, you must!!! They are so fun to play with and just watch. They are a lot like a dog they come when they are called they follow you around they butt there head into the door when they want u to come outside and play (ok the dogs don’t do that but they do scratch the door), they even eat dog treats, which I did not start that is thanks to my mom. So now the dogs get there bark box in the mail, the goats get store bought treats. Thanks mom!
We live in a small town the kind of town where if you need help and you post it on Facebook the whole town helps you. It’s pretty amazing to sit back and watch! of course we have our issues here also, but there’s more good than bad.
Thanks for checking in hope you come back to see what other shenanigans I Get into!!
